The European Rental Association needed a calculator to demonstrate how renting is the best choice for the construction industry, providing the right equipment while minimizing environmental impact.
We took care of the user experience and user interface of the calculator, as well as creating the necessary content: icons, illustrations, and an animated video to support the calculation process.
We completed the project by designing the logo and the new visual identity, managing the publication of the annual ERA edition, and creating an animated video for the launch of their new service.
A calculator for the future of construction
In collaboration with Alias2k and CE Delft, we analyzed and built the calculation structure, flows, and screens to ensure that the calculator was reliable, accurate, and effective. The goal of the calculator was to accurately measure the CO2 emissions generated during an hour of use by a single construction machine or an entire construction site, with the aim of promoting responsible usage and the adoption of alternative or renewable energy sources.
An illustrated ecosystem
To enhance the calculator’s impact, we opted for a straightforward and engaging communication approach, supported by a set of animated illustrations specifically created for this project. These illustrations were also used to complement corporate communications and their annual magazine, Discover Rental.
