The logo

The new Historic Center of Florence Unesco World Heritage logo was designed considering Florence art and architecture geometrical figures. Octagon is in fact in Brunelleschi’s dome base as well as Baptistery of San Giovanni foundation. The fountain in Palazzo Vecchio courtyard and the panels decorating Salone dei Cinquecento ceiling have octagonal shapes too. That is why the new logo is so simple and meaningful.

The website

Based on a responsive layout and a modular structure, the website has been programmed in HTML / CSS and PHP with the help of the jQuery framework for transition animations and layout management. Users are now able to navigate in a contemporary and friendly interface, easily checking all the events and activities planned.

We also created Unesco Management Plan book, according to the brand new visual identity: geometric graphic elements, blue color palette, minimal infographics were designed to better attract cultural audience.
